Dr. John Sarno, author of "Healing Back Pain," "The Mindbody Prescription," and other books, has strongly influenced my practice of medicine. Also, the study and practice of yoga, meditation, and the martial arts have convinced me that the mind and emotions have a profound effect on our physical and mental health and well-being. In addition to the standard office visit, I offer group office visits and have created a guided meditation CD to better serve the needs of my patients.
