While in the U.S. Air Force, Dr. Cox served as the Dermatology Consultant to the USAFE Surgeon General. Now a retired Lt. Colonel, Dr. Cox was called back to active duty and served during Operation Desert Storm. Dr. Cox served as Yuba-Sutter-Colusa County Medical Society President in 1995.
