Pediatric care also means caring for the whole family. It is where children and their parents come to have their concerns addressed and questions answered. I emphasize preventative care, discussing common issues and questions before they become problematic. Discussing healthy food choices with children and adolescents brings me joy. I also use the latest evidence-based medicine to guide my clinical practice and frequently collaborate with doctors and specialists. I like to discuss the treatment options available to ensure patients and families make informed decisions about their health.
