The BPCI Advanced model aims to promote quality and reduce costs of care associated with 32 hospital-based clinical episodes. The BPCI Advanced model is expected to lower the cost of care to Medicare, but your costs for covered care will not increase due to these changes.
Hospitals in the Sutter network are working closely with the doctors and other healthcare providers who will care for you during your hospital stay and through your recovery. By working together, your healthcare providers are planning more efficient, high quality care as you undergo treatment.
Hospitals in the Sutter network have entered into financial arrangements with collaborating physicians who are helping to redesign your care, and who may furnish healthcare services to you. Under these agreements, hospitals in the Sutter network may share payments received from Medicare as a result of reduced spending with collaborating physicians.
