Eden Medical Center cares for an average of more than 600 cancer patients each year. With cancer care services in increasing demand, imaging/screening is the first line of defense for patients and the key to diagnosing cancer at an earlier stage in the disease. Eden Medical Center is recognized as the first Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence in the state of California by the American College of Radiology. And the Eden Radiation Oncology Center provides 4,000 treatments a year to serve cancer patients.
Eden has robust community offerings for cancer prevention and screening which help to educate everyone about the importance of screenings and signs to look for that prompt a doctor’s visit. Those diagnosed with cancer are offered an array of resources including patient navigator, support groups and survivorship workshops.
