Creating a Patient-Centered Tool to Help Medicare Beneficiaries Choose Prescription Drug Plans

Goals are

To develop estimates of expected total out-of-pocket spending in different Part D plans for PAMF Medicare patients using medication use data in the electronic medical records;
To interactively develop a patient-centered tool to provide this information to beneficiaries; and
To evaluate the intervention using a randomized, controlled trial on a population of PAMF patients.
