Alan Kramer, MD, is a medical oncologist at Sutter’s California Pacific Medical Center. He is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology, and sits on the boards of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Association of Northern California Oncology.
Dr. Kramer investigates novel therapies for solid tumor cancers, including those of the head and neck, lung, and breast. He participates in clinical trials in these areas and has authored numerous publications and delivered lectures nationally on targeted and immunotherapies for solid tumors.
He was an Executive Producer of the documentaries Living with Breast Cancer (Silver Wolf Productions) and Living with Lung Cancer: The Wells Whitney Story (Silver Wolf Productions).
Dr. Kramer completed an MD with Honors at the University of Siena Medical School in Siena, Italy. He completed residency training at City Hospital in Elmhurst, New York, followed by fellowships in hematology and medical oncology at Mount Sinai Services in New York and the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.
