SACRAMENTO, Calif. – They talked baseball with teenage boys. They threw baseballs in the playroom with siblings of patients. They even held hands with little girls and walked them down the hall.
The Sacramento River Cats made another memorable visit to Sutter Children’s Center, Sacramento on Thursday, visiting patients and families throughout the pediatrics unit as part of the summer caravan series. The River Cats stopped in at Sutter Davis Hospital in May to kick off the caravan, visiting patients, employees and guests and patrons who shopped at the hospital’s Davis Farmers Market.
But Thursday was all about the kids.
