TRACY, CA – After years of planning and a construction process that succeeded despite a record rainy season, Sutter Gould Medical Foundation’s (SGMF) new 47,000 square foot office building opened this week, offering Tracy area residents an expanded set of services in a medical plaza atmosphere.
“We are very excited to have our building open. Our wonderful staff, volunteers and physicians are ready to care for their patients,” said Gary Zufelt, chief executive officer for SGMF. “Our vision is to lead the transformation of health care to the highest levels of quality, access, and affordability, and this new building was designed with that vision in mind. It supports expanded access and new services, and it gives us the ability to continue to grow and provide expanded services well into the future.”
Sutter Gould moved all of their providers from locations throughout Tracy to the new site at 445 W. Eaton Avenue, directly across from Sutter Tracy Community Hospital. Physicians and staff provide primary care (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine and Pediatrics) and specialty care including Dermatology, Rheumatology, Orthopedics, Podiatry, OB/GYN, ENT, Neurology, Endoscopy, Pulmonology, and Nephrology.
Additional services include a new offering — an Urgent Care Center — and many services familiar to Sutter patients in their other large clinics in Stockton, Modesto, and Turlock: an Injection/Shot Clinic, Lab/Blood Draw stations and imaging services including X-Ray and ultrasound.
“Having a full-range of outpatient care right next to Sutter Tracy Community Hospital, helps us provide a complete continuum of care to the community,” said Richard Leal, Director of Foundation Growth & Strategy for Sutter Health.
