Celebrating 11 Years as a Top Fundraiser for March of Dimes
Sutter Health raised $652,537 for the March for Dimes this year, making 2014 Sutter’s 11th year as the top fundraising team in Northern California for the national foundation. The March of Dimes also recognized Sutter Health as its top health care fundraising team in the United States for the past four years.
Sutter Health has partnered with the March of Dimes since 1998 to promote safer birth experiences for moms and their babies. Over the past 16 years, the health care network raised more than $7.3 million to support life-saving research and programs that help mothers have healthy, full-term pregnancies and babies have a healthy start at life.
Women gave birth to more than 34,000 babies in Sutter-affiliated hospitals in 2013. For a comprehensive online guide to pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and caring for your newborn go to our Sutter Health Babies website.
