New Medical Campus Coming to San Carlos
Palo Alto Medical Foundation received approval to move forward with the construction of a new medial center in San Carlos on the Bay Area Peninsula.
PAMF’s San Carlos Center, at 301 Industrial Road in San Carlos, will be a state-of–the-art, full service medical center. The integrated campus, including an outpatient medical center and a hospital, will be constructed in two phases. Construction of the acute inpatient care center (hospital) has not yet been scheduled. When both phases are complete, this campus will fully integrate ambulatory care, acute care and common space in order to provide a new level of patient-focused care.
This medical center will house 75 physicians (with future capacity to house 120 physicians) and provide a range of primary and specialty care services, an Urgent Care Center, an outpatient surgery center, and complete laboratory and diagnostic imaging departments.
