Palo Alto Medical Foundation Opens Pediatric Urgent Care Clinic in Dublin
New Pediatric Clinic Offers Same-Day Appointments and Extended Hours
Dublin, Calif. – Sutter Health’s Palo Alto Medical Foundation (PAMF) announces the opening of a Pediatric Urgent Care Clinic in Dublin, offering convenient care from pediatricians and medical professionals.
The Pediatric Urgent Care Clinic, located on the first floor of 4050 Dublin Blvd., offers same-day medical attention for minor to moderate illnesses after hours and on all holidays. The clinic is open from 1 to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and holidays.
“Caring for kids requires special knowledge and a caring touch – especially when it’s urgent,” said Michaella Okihara, M.D., Chair, PAMF Pediatric Urgent Care. “We know people often need high quality care for their children after hours or beyond the standard work week. Urgent care is available for kids when they need it.’’
Dublin’s Pediatric Urgent Care offers medical attention for a wide variety of conditions including but not limited to:
- Coughs, colds and flu
- Fever, vomiting and diarrhea
- Rashes and allergic reactions
- Cuts, sprains and fractures
Laboratory and X-ray services are available on-site. Patients also can be referred to specialists as needed.
Because this urgent care clinic does not treat serious life-threatening emergencies, children may actually be seen sooner than in an emergency department where the most serious emergency is treated first.
All children are welcome at the Dublin Pediatric Urgent Care, whether or not they have a PAMF doctor. Families with children may walk in for care, or for the fastest service, people can schedule an appointment online at www.pamf.org/pediatrics/urgentcare/dublin.php or call 925-875-3700.
Appointments will be billed as a primary care office visit.
