Sutter Health 2011 Online Annual Report Named Among Best in Class
The League of American Communications Professionals LLC (LACP) honored Sutter Health’s 2011 Online Annual Report with a Silver Award in its 2011 Vision Awards, ranking it among the best internationally in the 11th consecutive annual reports competition.
After judging by communications professionals affiliated with its organization, the LACP recognized Sutter Health’s 2011 Online Annual Report as among the best annual reports in the health care industry. The report scored 97 out of 100, with high marks for accessibility, message clarity, creativity, reporting format and more.
“This year’s annual report for Sutter Health proves to be remarkable in light of tremendous competition,” said Christine Kennedy, LACP Managing Director. “We received more than 5,500 entries for the 2011 Vision Awards, comprising submissions from upwards of two-dozen countries and 800 entities. We congratulate the entire team involved with this year’s work.”
Sutter Health began producing an online annual report in 2007, when very few organizations had switched to online formats to share data through interactive channels. The shift from print to online increases readership, conserves natural resources and reduces waste. It’s estimated that Sutter’s 2011 Online Annual Report spared nearly 14 trees, saved about 6,000 gallons of wastewater flow and avoided producing more than 1,300 pounds of greenhouse gases.
The Sutter Health team worked with Blast Advanced Media to produce and optimize the 2011 award-winning annual report.
