Sutter Health Surgery Centers Honored for Excellence in Outpatient Surgery
SACRAMENTO, Calif.—The California Ambulatory Surgery Association (CASA) has honored not-for-profit Sutter Health’s Sutter Alhambra Surgery Center with its Ambulatory Surgery Center of the Year Award. CASA’s Board of Directors established the award to recognize the ASC that truly exemplifies best practices in the field of outpatient surgery.
CASA also awarded Sutter Alhambra, Fort Sutter Surgery Center and Palo Alto Medical Foundation’s Surgery Center San Carlos with three of four of its ASC Excellence Awards—which go each year to member facilities that actively promote and advocate for ASC excellence. There are 330 ASCs in California affiliated with CASA.
“It is an honor for our ASCs to be recognized for the outstanding care they provide their patients,” says Sutter Surgery Division CEO Terry Glubka. “Congratulations to these teams for this well-deserved honor.”
