Sutter Health’s MyLifeStages.org Brings Home the Gold — Again!
For the third consecutive year, Sutter Health’s MyLifeStages.org received a gold award for “Best Overall Internet Site” from the prestigious eHealthcare Leadership Awards. Serving more than 360,000 visitors in 2011, the wellness portal connects Northern California women and their families with Sutter-affiliated doctors, health information, tools, expert tips and more, all for free.
The honor recognizes MyLifeStages.org for its interactive features and health resources designed to support women on their journey toward good health at every stage of life. An independent panel of judges familiar with health care and the Internet evaluated nearly 1,200 national entries for 13 categories, ultimately selecting Sutter’s site as a gold winner in the Consumer General Health category, which also included popular consumer wellness sites hosted by The Mayo Clinic and WebMD.com (awarded Platinum).
“Since its inception in 2009, MyLifeStages has been providing women of all ages with a rich library of interactive tools and videos, local articles, convenient e-mail reminders for wellness checkups and more,” said Toni Brayer, M.D., regional vice president and chief medical officer, and medical advisor for MyLifeStages. “We’re thrilled to see more women rely on the site for relevant, reliable resources to manage their family’s wellness and stay connected to the latest health trends.”
