Today, we’re proud to support people with seizure disorders and brain injuries as they get ready for work and find meaningful jobs. A referral from the California Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) is typically required. **Are there requirements I need to meet to participate?** To participate in PEP Jobs, you’ll need to: - Be actively looking for work - Be at least 18 years old - Be free from drug or alcohol dependency for at least 90 days - Have a seizure disorder or brain injury diagnosis - Possess legal right-to-work documents - Be ready and motivated to return to work **What types of jobs does Sutter PEP help with?** The program focuses on retail, customer service, hospitality, IT, healthcare, and administrative roles, but job placement varies based on individual skills and interests. **How does Sutter PEP assist with job applications?** The program provides resume help, online job application assistance, mock interviews, real-time interview support, recruiter communication to increase hiring success. **What employment services can I access through PEP Jobs?** We help with pre-employment and post-employment services including: - Cover letter and resume development - Interviewing preparation - Networking strategies - Contacting and following up with employers - Organizing and focusing your job search - How to talk to the employer about your medical condition - Coordinating job accommodations - 90 days of follow-up support after you’re hired - Connecting you with resources and support groups - SSI/SSDI benefits planning information  - [Ticket to Work](https://www.ssa.gov/work/ "Ticket to Work") assistance **Do I need prior work experience?** No. Sutter PEP helps participants build employment skills and find entry-level positions that fit their abilities. **How does PEP Jobs benefit employers?** Employers who partner with PEP Jobs are tapping into a highly motivated talent pool.
