Dmitri Gelfand, MD, RVT, FACS, is a vascular surgeon at Sutter Roseville Medical Center, and Medical Director of Vascular Surgery and Vascular Access at Sutter Roseville Medical Center. He is board certified in vascular surgery.
Dr. Gelfand studies new approaches for stent grant repair, and novel surgical approaches to treat abdominal aortic aneurysm, peripheral artery disease, aortic aneurysm, carotid disease, renal artery occlusive disease, carotid occlusive disease, venous and lymphatic disease, venous insufficiency and occlusive disease.
He is renowned for surgical expertise in femoral bypass procedures, limb preservation/salvage, peripheral vascular surgery, ultrasound guided dialysis access salvage, varicose vein surgery, vascular access surgery, and venous ablation.
Dr. Gelfand obtained an MD at the University of California, Irvine. He completed an internship and residency training in general surgery at the University of California, Irvine, and a fellowship in vascular surgery at SUNY Stony Brook University Medical Center in Stony Brook, NY.
