He completed his Hematology/Oncology fellowship and Internal Medicine residency at LAC+USC Medical Center, following his medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University Chicago Medical School. Dr. McLain holds a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry with Honors from Lake Forest College. Dr. McLain’s clinical and research interests include hematologic malignancies and improving care delivery in underserved populations. His work has been presented at institutional and national forums, with peer-reviewed publications in journals such as __Blood__ , __ACG Case Reports Journal__ , and the __Journal of Cardiovascular Pharmacology and Therapeutics__ . He has also contributed to multiple patents in chemical engineering prior to his medical training.
