At our [five specialty centers](https://www.sutterhealth.org/services/behavioral-health-care#map) in Sacramento and the Bay Area, you’ll find inpatient psychiatric care, partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient programs (IOP), outpatient care and both in-person and virtual services for adults and children. We also offer advanced [interventional psychiatry](https://www.sutterhealth.org/services/interventional-psychiatry) treatment options at select centers, including electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), ketamine infusion therapy (KIT), transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and Stanford Accelerated Intelligent Neuromodulation Therapy (SAINT) TMS.

**Health psychology program**

At CPMC, we’re here to walk alongside you and your family as you navigate the challenges of acute or chronic medical illnesses. We understand how overwhelming it can be, so we’ve developed integrated programs offering patient-centered care and comprehensive psychological support. Our goal is to ensure that mental health care is easily accessible, enhancing your overall treatment by caring for your emotional well-being as part of a holistic approach to your health.

**MPI Addiction Care Services**

Located in Oakland, [MPI Addiction Care Services](https://www.sutterhealth.org/find-location/facility/merritt-peralta-institute-mpi-addiction-care-services-1043247222) provides the care and support you need to begin your journey to recovery. We offer a complete range of chemical dependency treatment. Our counseling services are available to your friends and family as well as you to help surround you with a supportive network. If you or a loved one is struggling with addiction, we’re here to help you recover in a safe, compassionate setting.
