The Health Education Department offers patients and members of the community reliable health information for all stages of life. Assistance is provided on a drop-in basis or by appointment (at select sites), by telephone, e-mail, or My Health Online message. Most services are provided at no cost. Virtual Classes & Support Groups
PAMF health educators are available at all centers to provide individual breast self-examination instruction. After watching a video of breast self-examination technique (available in English and Spanish), you will have the opportunity to practice the technique on a model of a breast that contains lumps of various shapes and sizes. Please allow approximately one hour for instruction. This service is free and open to PAMF patients and community members with an appointment.
