Last year, generous donors helped to significantly enhance surgical capabilities in Amador, Auburn, Davis, Sacramento, and Tracy. These advancements, such as a new endoscopic system at Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital, a new endoscopic system and Stealth Fusion system at Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento, and an OR Integration system at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital, allow our medical professionals to perform complex procedures more efficiently and effectively, leading to improved patient outcomes, a substantial reduction in risks, and the best possible care when they are in need of life-saving surgery.

These investments in surgical services will go on to help patients like Carmen, who required a shoulder joint replacement after experiencing a gradual increase in shoulder pain some years ago. The pain slowly limited her range of motion until she couldn't perform routine tasks, like brushing her hair, taking clothes out of the dryer, or shutting the car door. Thanks to a successful surgery, she was able to go back to doing the things she loves and enjoying life with her husband, John.
