Description
The purpose of this study is to characterize participants in the BE WELL trial of a life-style modification, weight loss intervention trial in patients with poorly controlled asthma in terms of their atopy phenotype and serum periostin and 8-isoprostane levels in exhaled breath condensate at baseline and follow-up, and to maintain and utilize the BE WELL serum bank for the purpose of better understanding the relation between asthma control and both obesity and weight loss.
