General Orientation Sessions

Orientation sessions are open to all who would like to volunteer at Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento.

Registration begins the first of each month for the next month’s orientation only. We will not accept any sign-ups prior to these dates. Registration is limited to the first 75 applicants. If you know that you have a conflict for the next month’s orientation, please wait to register until you know that you can attend. Volunteers are required to start volunteering within thirty days of attending an orientation.

Orientations open for registration on the first of each month for the next month’s orientation only. Example, the orientation in May will open on April 1st (with the exceptions below). Registration opens at 7:00 am. After you register, Volunteer Services will email you a link to the volunteer application which must be completed within 48 hours of receipt followed by a telephone interview. Once your application and interview are completed, your orientation attendance will be confirmed.
