Volunteering Opportunities
Our volunteers are caring people who support our community's healthcare services by offering their time transporting patients, delivering linen, directing visitors and running the gift shop. Approximately 36 active volunteers donate over 4,000 hours of service each year.
Sales from the gift shop at Memorial Hospital Los Banos are used to purchase medical equipment and provide scholarships to high school students pursuing a career in the medical field.

Volunteering is a wonderful gift that can be given to patients and the community. Volunteers meet people, make new friends, use their skills and acquire new ones. They feel a sense of accomplishment and perhaps the most important benefit is satisfaction of knowing they are contributing to their community and making a difference.
