When you call this city home, you call CPMC your hospital
With the addition of our two smart new hospitals, combined with the personalized, compassionate whole-person care, research and expertise we are known for, CPMC is setting a new standard for patients and families from San Francisco and beyond.
Van Ness Campus at Geary opened in March 2019, featuring roof gardens, two expanded emergency departments (one for children and one for adults), 13 operating rooms, and a major labor-and-delivery department prepared for the most complex cases and ready to care for our most vulnerable tiny patients at the Deikel Family Newborn Intensive Care Unit – a Level III NICU.
Mission Bernal Campus at Valencia and Cesar Chavez opened in August 2018. Each patient room is private, and features an integrated nurse call system along with a multi-purpose media system capable of providing patient education, communication and entertainment features.
In addition to amenities that create a healing environment, the hospitals also feature elements that help nurses and doctors provide the best care possible. Our new campuses provide a safe, sustainable and comfortable experience for patients and families.
