Become a Volunteer
Membership in the Memorial Medical Center volunteer program is open to men and women ages 23 and older who are interested in volunteering more than 50 hours of their time each year to support quality healthcare in our community. Please email Volunteer Services to request an application.
Memorial Medical Center’s junior volunteers are teenagers who contribute their time to support Memorial and enjoy a rewarding experience of community services.
Junior volunteers provide services Monday through Friday by admitting patients, discharging patients and making deliveries. Junior volunteers must be 14 to 18 years old and commit to providing one year or 100 hours of services. For information about the junior volunteers, call (209) 569-7350.
Benefits of Volunteering
"There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up." — John Andrew Holmes
Volunteering is a wonderful gift that can be given to patients and the community. Volunteers meet people, make new friends, use their skills and acquire new ones. They feel a sense of accomplishment and perhaps the most important benefit is satisfaction of knowing they are contributing to their community and making a difference.
