Everyone is eligible for Sutter’s same-day services. You don’t need to be a Sutter patient or have a Sutter-affiliated doctor to visit.
Our services are available for:
- Adults
- Children 18 months or older.
We recommend infants receive care from their pediatricians. For children with minor to moderate conditions, Sutter offers Pediatric Urgent Care services in certain locations.
For Video Visits, you must be physically located in California at the time of your appointment to participate.
Appointments are recommended before coming to our care centers and required for Video Visits.
Easily make a convenient appointment for Sutter Walk-in Care or Urgent Care online. To book a virtual consultation, go to Video Visits. When scheduling, please fill out the intake questionnaire to help save time as well.
Sutter’s affordable same-day care services accept most health insurance plans, as well as patients with no insurance coverage. We also accept major credit cards. Contact your health plan administrator to verify your insurance coverage.

Our same-day, in-person services are typically open daily, including evenings and weekends, with hours dependent on the location. Hours may also vary on holidays – check online or call ahead first.
For Video Visits, you will speak with a Sutter Walk-in Care clinician:
- Regular hours: 11:00 am – 7:00 pm
- Holiday hours: 11:00 am – 6:00 pm
A Video Visit is a real-time telehealth appointment where you speak with a clinician virtually. You can do this online from the comfort and convenience of your home, office or anywhere in California.
Walk-in Care is intended for those seeking treatment for common, non-life-threatening medical conditions and minor infections like colds and flu. Our clinicians also administer sports physicals and vaccinations.
Urgent Care clinics are similar to Walk-in Care but have capabilities to handle more serious conditions. These include deep lacerations and moderate sprains. Some Urgent Care clinics are also equipped with X-rays and labs for testing.
For life-threatening conditions such as strokes or heart attack symptoms, it’s best to call 911 for an ambulance or go immediately to a hospital ER.
