Philosophy of Care
Applying scientific advances to solve clinical problems has taken on new meaning in the past decade due to explosive growth in knowledge in particular genomics. The new knowledge could revolutionize the field of oncology and hematology and eventually most fields in medicine. We now have a way to understand why we are different as individuals and that gives us the opportunity to intervene to alter the natural course of disease. This has rejuvenated my curiosity and passion for taking care of cancer patients
