Philosophy of Care
I believe the most effective method to help improve an ailment involves individual empowerment through education and understanding that there is always more than one approach to improve any one situation. Establishing trust with my patients has involved allowing time for discussion of the ailment, time for diagnosis and time for education on how to approach the treatment. In my experience meeting each of these criteria makes for a more fulfilling doctor-patient encounter. The goal being patient empowerment.
