Chamber/EDC Sponsorship

Sutter Health Valley Area (SHVA) invests millions of dollars locally in strategic community partnerships and programs benefiting the underserved and sponsorships that support important regional organizations like yours.

SHVA is proud to serve as a sponsor of the various business and economic development corporations (EDC) throughout the region. We want to continue to move towards funding project based initiatives that create tangible and measurable outcomes. Ultimately, we want to invest in unique and creative efforts that seek to strengthen the business climate, foster our regional economy and improve the quality of life in the greater Sacramento Region.

Applicant Criteria

• Only online applications accepted
• Submit one page RFP (see instructions)
• Current grantees are not eligible for sponsorship funding
• Agency must commit to measuring the results/impact of their event/activity

Conditions & Restrictions

Please note Sutter Health does not consider funding requests that include the following:

• Chamber/EDC requests outside of SHVA's service area
• Golf tournaments

We hold one Chamber/EDC sponsorship application period within a year. Please see the timeline below for details.

Each organization may only receive one award per year. If you have multiple programs or initiatives you would like us to consider for sponsorship, you are encouraged to include all requests in one application.

Request for Proposal Periods

Organizations must apply during the Chamber/EDC Request for Proposal (RFP) period:

For 2020 Funding:

• October 14, 2019 — December 6, 2019: Proposals Due
• December 9, 2019 — December 31, 2019: Awardees Announced
• July 2020: Awardees report mid year measurable outcomes
• January 2021: Awardees report year end measurable outcomes
