I believe in empowering and educating patients and their family members to make decisions about their care, with me as their partner or advisor. My focus is on preventive care and keeping people healthy, rather than having to treat ailments after the fact. The promotion of good health practices such as proper exercise, diet, stress reduction and avoiding substance abuse is crucial for optimal health. I speak Cantonese and Mandarin fluently and enjoy having patients from a variety of cultural backgrounds. I like learning about my patients' personal lives, as well as their social and emotional concerns and incorporate these factors in helping them to make healthcare decisions.

Outside of Medicine, personal interests include swimming, running, outdoor activities.
