Chika M. Shah, M.D.

Dr. Shah’s family immigrated from Japan, where they met a pediatrician who made a lasting impact on their lives. That meaningful experience sparked. Dr. Shah’s path into pediatrics. Becoming a parent further deepened her passion for helping children grow up healthy, safe, and supported. As a primary care pediatrician, Dr. Shah is dedicated to ensuring that every child and family feels seen, heard, and never alone in facing life’s challenges. She believes in caring for the whole child—bridging the many interconnected aspects that influence both physical and emotional well-being—recognizing that medicine is just one piece of the puzzle. Her first name, which means “a thousand flowers” in Japanese, reflects the warmth and joy she brings to her work. Dr. Shah strives to help children and families smile—just as a thousand flowers might.

Outside of Medicine, Dr. Shah enjoys baking (and discovering new bakeries), playing tennis, reading on the beach, and spending quality time with family.
