Stephanie C Chiang, M.D., MPH, FAAP

I am a firm believer that good health is a gift and that prevention is the key to maintaining good health. With additional training in public health, my charge is to help children live long healthy lives by focusing on healthy eating, exercise, safety, and routine screening and vaccinations. As a pediatrician, I feel blessed to be able to watch kids grow up to be young adults. I think that it is important to teach them sustainable lifetime habits in helping them to obtain their full potential.

What does it mean to be a provider? I provide parents with information and resources so that they are comfortable making decisions for their children. I see myself as a partner and guide in making those decisions and want to be sure that parents are confident taking care of their sick children at home.

The world of medicine is constantly changing and I strive to stay prepared and up-to-date with the most recent guidelines, information, and technology. As a doctor at PAMF, I am provided with support and resources that allow me take care of my patients with respect and in a timely manner. I know what it means to be a patient at PAMF and I want to make sure that my patients feel that they are getting the most excellent care possible.

To accommodate the busy and unpredictable schedules of working parents, I am available in the early mornings and late afternoons. I work hard and play hard and cherish every moment that I can spend with my family.

I have three boys who teach me about the joys AND perils of parenting every day. Parenting is a journey, and I hope to be a part of that journey with your family.
