Community Health Needs Assessment

Sutter Health has a long tradition of working to improve the health of the communities we serve through our community benefit activities and programs. These efforts are based on needs identified through a community health needs assessment, conducted once every three years, in collaboration with other healthcare providers, public health departments and a variety of community organizations.

Community Health Needs Assessment

In 2019, Sutter Health conducted community health needs assessments (CHNA) to identify the significant health needs in the communities we serve.

Community Benefit Annual Reports

Sutter Health fulfills its non-for-profit mission inside and outside the walls of out care facilities through community health investments that meet the most pressing needs of the areas we serve, as identified in tri-annual Community Health Needs Assessments. Through collaborative partnerships with nonprofit organizations and community partners, government and Federally Qualified Health Centers, we partner to deliver innovative solutions that help improve the health of our communities, families, and patients. Our 2019 community benefit reports highlight Sutter’s commitment to addressing the social determinants of health in the Bay and Valley regions.
