Laid-back

September 26, 2024

Laid-back breastfeeding means getting comfortable with baby and encouraging baby's natural breastfeeding instincts. This position uses your baby's feeding reflexes.

When you lean back, gravity helps to keep baby in position. Lean back comfortably with baby’s tummy on your tummy, and baby’s cheek on your breast. Allow your baby to root and self-attach. Support your breast if necessary.
