Information for patients and study volunteers, including frequently asked questions.

Description

The purpose of this project is to investigate how PAMF patients deliberate, decide, and act upon genetic counseling and testing to determine their personal risk for breast and ovarian cancer. An additional goal is to map the patient experience of those who test positive for genetic mutations and examine their surveillance and risk reduction practices. The outcomes of this project are intended to provide in-depth information on patients’ experiences and decision-making around genetic counseling and testing in the newly created PAMF clinical genetics program.
