When you’re suddenly in need of immediate treatment for a critical condition, such as a gunshot wound or brain injury, the trauma care team at Sutter Roseville Medical Center works quickly to give you the individualized care you require.
Sutter Roseville’s Level II trauma center serves a seven-county region that includes Placer, Nevada, Sutter, Yolo, Yuba and portions of Sacramento and El Dorado counties. With Sutter Roseville's 2020 expansion, the trauma center has grown to care for our growing population. This means we can treat more people, more quickly. Our Level II trauma center is verified by the American College of Surgeons as meeting the organization’s most stringent requirements for trauma center quality.
We offer a high level of specialty care at our trauma center, which is staffed around the clock by trauma surgeons, anesthesiologists, physician specialists, trauma nurses and support staff. We also offer immediate care from specialists such as orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons and thoracic surgeons.
In addition to a nearby helipad for medical transports, the trauma center is located in the emergency department, with nearby radiology and critical care areas, and four spacious, well-equipped resuscitation rooms with in-room radiology equipment. Our comprehensive services include trauma outreach and prevention programs.
