For example, we offer minimally invasive surgery using the latest laparoscopic techniques and laparoscopic robotic-assisted technology. This allows surgeons to perform hysterectomy, gallbladder, bariatric and other surgeries with just one to five small incisions—reducing your recovery time and scarring. For kidney cancer, robotic surgery technology lets surgeons remove just the kidney tumor in some people, rather than the entire kidney. Memorial Medical Center offers three catheterization laboratories (“cath labs”) and two hybrid interventional radiology labs with state-of-the-art, image-guided diagnostic technology.
