Crafts and Connections at Mills-Peninsula Medical Center

Volunteers work out of the Volunteer Office making activity booklets for the inpatients. They also work on holiday "tent" cards that get placed on inpatient meal trays during holidays throughout the year. Other projects, as needed, may be completed by this group of volunteers.

Training

• Apply online
• Attend a Virtual Information Meeting (90-minutes)
• Complete appropriate health testing and drug test (in person with our Employee Health Department; no charge to applicant)
• Pass a background check (completed online through an outside agency; no charge to applicant)
• Interview Virtually with Volunteer Services staff (45-minutes)
• Attend a Virtual orientation (2 hours)
• Complete on-line training on your own computer on your own time (~7 hours)
• Complete specific service area training (time is variable depending on the assignment)
