We use ERAS and participate in the Match with the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).

2025-2026 Academic Year Interviews

Interviews will be scheduled for 10/15/2025, 10/16/2025 and 10/21/2025.

We are following the recommendations of the APDEM Council and will be doing all interviews virtually this year, including for local candidates. Per the ADPEM recommendations, we will also offer Informational In-Person visits (e.g. tour of facilities) at the request of our applicants.

We are following the recommendations from the APDEM in regards to optional In-Person visits:

• Will be at the request of the applicant
• Will be an informational visit (e.g., tour of facilities) rather than a recruitment visit
• Will include brief greetings with program personnel (e.g., program coordinator, program director and/or associate program director, current fellows) and a tour of clinics and hospital.
• Will not include formal interviews; one-on-one meetings with program faculty, program director, associate program director, fellows; or meals with fellows and/or faculty.
• In-Person tour/visit will not impact a resident’s candidacy

Program Signaling

We will incorporate signaling in a holistic review to select candidates to interview.   While we preferentially review applications from those who signal our program, we also consider other factors in an applicant’s portfolio in making a decision on extending an interview invitation.

International Applicants

Effective January 1, 2020, the Medical Board of California will no longer issue Postgraduate Training Authorization Letters (PTAL) to International Medical School Graduates. Therefore, it is not a requirement to apply to our program. To qualify, the medical school needs to be recognized by the Medical Board of California.

At this time, we do not sponsor J1, H1B, or other types of visas.
