Message From our Program Director
California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) is a Comprehensive Stroke Care Center that provides exceptional neurovascular and neurocritical care in an academic setting in the heart of San Francisco. We provide our fellows with well-rounded critical care experience that includes time in the neuro, medical, surgical, and cardiovascular intensive care units. Our faculty is diverse and includes vascular neurologists, neurointensivist, epileptologists, and neuro interventionalists. We pay significant personal attention to the education and career goals of our fellows and create a personalized schedule to reflect that. Our fellows will have the opportunity to rotate in Neuro IR, telestroke and with our mobile stroke unit if they wish. Our trainees will also participate in clinical research projects with the intent of contributing to scholarly publications and involvement in the most recent clinical trials. Our goal is to provide excellent clinical training and career mentorship. We are UCNS accredited, and we accept 1 fellow every two years.
