How to Apply
Applications are accepted through the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS), sponsored by the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). We participate in the match and applicants will need to register through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).
Requirements (through ERAS):
- Completed Application
- 3 Letters of Recommendation (including 1 from the Chief of Medicine or Cardiology, or Program Director at each institution in which you have held a training position)
- MPSE (Medical Student Performance Evaluation)
- USMLE Scores (Step 1, 2, and 3)
- Curriculum Vitae
- Medical School Transcript
- Personal Statement
- Passport Style Photograph
- ECFMG Certificate for Foreign Medical Graduates
International Applicants
Effective January 1, 2020, the Medical Board of California will no longer issue Postgraduate Training Authorization Letters (PTAL) to International Medical School Graduates. Therefore, it is not a requirement to apply to our program. To qualify, the medical school needs to be recognized by the Medical Board of California.
At this time, we do not sponsor J1, H1B, or other types of visas.
