The CPMC Retina Fellowship at California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) is a specialized, two-year clinical training program focused on diagnosing and managing diseases affecting the retina and vitreous.

Advanced Clinical Training in Retina and Vitreous Surgery
The CPMC Retina Fellowship Program offers specialized training to advance your career in retina surgery, whether in private practice or an academic setting. You’ll gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge retinal surgery and therapeutic procedures, following the guidelines set by the Association of University Professors of Ophthalmology (AUPO).
Working alongside leading ophthalmologists in state-of-the-art medical facilities, you’ll treat a broad range of cases, from routine retinal issues to complex surgeries. This program emphasizes mentorship, collaboration and teaching, ensuring you refine critical surgical skills while participating in research and contributing to peer-reviewed publications.
This fellowship is open to applicants every other year.
