Dear Residency Candidate,

Welcome to the Sutter Roseville Anesthesiology Residency Program. It is a privilege to serve as Program Director and to introduce you to a program that blends academic rigor, clinical excellence, and a culture grounded in teamwork and professionalism.

At Sutter Roseville, you will train in a dynamic environment that emphasizes innovation, collaboration, and resident well-being. Our faculty are deeply invested in your growth, providing mentorship and guidance through a broad range of clinical experiences, structured simulation and didactics, research, and leadership development.

As a new community-based program, we are uniquely positioned to offer the best of both worlds: the breadth and autonomy of training in a busy regional medical center, coupled with personalized attention from dedicated faculty. You will gain hands-on experience across the perioperative spectrum, from patients requiring complex surgical care to those presenting for outpatient care at our ambulatory facilities.

Residency is both a challenging and rewarding journey. Our program is designed not only to prepare you for board certification, but to equip you with the skills, judgement, and resilience needed to thrive as a physician leader who makes a meaningful impact on patients, colleagues, and the community.
