How to Apply
All positions are filled through the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP), without exception.
All applications are reviewed carefully and thoughtfully. All aspects of the application packet are given equal weight. In your personal statement, please provide us with details of your career goals and how you envision your fellowship unfolding to help you reach your desired endpoint. Please also share what motivates you as a physician and person.
Interviews are by invitation only. Following the review of your application, you will be notified as to whether you have been selected for an interview.
Applications for Sutter Roseville Medical Center Hematology & Oncology Fellowship Program must be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) sponsored by the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). We participate in the match and applicants will need to register through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).
The program will begin reviewing files through ERAS as soon as the files are opened for review. Invitations will be sent out as soon as possible after that.

International Applicants
Effective January 1, 2020, the Medical Board of California will no longer issue Postgraduate Training Authorization Letters (PTAL) to International Medical School Graduates. Therefore, it is not a requirement to apply to our program. To qualify, the medical school needs to be recognized by the Medical Board of California.
Currently, we do not sponsor J1, H1B, or other types of visas.
