The mission of the Sutter Roseville Internal Medicine Residency Program is to train excellent and compassionate clinicians who are fully competent in all areas of physicianship and to do so in a clinical environment that embraces diversity, equity and inclusion, while balancing service, education and resident well-being.

There are 39 residents in the Sutter Roseville Medical Center Internal Medicine Residency Program, with 13 residents in each year.

We’re looking for humanistic and compassionate physicians with excellent bedside manners. Residents selected for our program will be resourceful, able to apply lessons from medical literature in real time and willing to develop their procedural skills. Residents will interact with colleagues, interdisciplinary teams and patients with respect and collaboration.

Located at the base of the Sierra Nevada foothills, Roseville offers 340 days of sunshine a year, many job opportunities and low crime rates. The area is a short drive from all that Northern California has to offer, including wine country and the ski slopes. Local options for outdoor activities and recreation as well as fine dining and high-end shopping are abundant right in Roseville. The area surrounding Sutter Rosevillle Medical Center is growing quickly and is projected to add more than 150,000 residents over the next 20 years.
