I believe in promoting and supporting the empowerment of women and their families through active engagement in their healthcare. As midwives, we are especially trained in the art of normal childbirth through education, support and collaboration with women and their families. It is through this approach that I hope to provide the advocacy and resolve needed to enable a healthy pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding experience and postpartum recovery. It is my sincere hope that all women regardless of age, race, economic and social status have access to quality midwifery care that will help them navigate the many healthcare needs we as women encounter throughout our lives to be healthier, happier and more secure in our physical and mental well-being.
