Andrew W. Tam, M.D.

Dr. Tam with wit and efficiency, though balanced by an even-tempered and grounded demeanor originating from his Californian heritage. He believes that all patients regardless of socioeconomic status are entitled to quality care. Secondly, he champions a patient-centered model: the role of the physician is to provide expertise and guide patients towards the best possible outcomes. Lastly, he believes in incorporating salient literature and best practice guidelines in order to provide patients with the most up-to-date care.

Outside of Medicine, Dr. Tam is a native of San Francisco but spent a decade on the East Coast completing his medical training. Dr. Tam is a fitness enthusiast, avid golfer, and sports watcher, particularly of the SF Giants, 49ers, and Golden State Warriors. He is considered a semi-professional foodie and amateur home cook.
