Alyssa Martin brings a patient-centered approach to surgical and weight management care, believing that effective healthcare is built on trust, education, and long-term partnership. She views surgery and weight management as tools that empower patients to improve their health and quality of life and is committed to treating the whole person while recognizing that every patient's journey is unique. Through evidence-based practice, multidisciplinary collaboration, and patient advocacy, she creates a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where patients feel heard, informed, and empowered to achieve their goals.

Alyssa Martin, MSN, FNP‑BC/C, is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the California Association for Nurse Practitioners (CANP), and the Gastroenterology & Hepatology Advanced Practice Providers Association (GHAPP). Her professional interests include metabolic health, the physiological drivers of obesity, multimodal treatment strategies for weight management, perioperative patient care, patient education, informed decision-making, and collaborative care models that support long-term success.

She is deeply committed to her community and faith and enjoys volunteering on the worship team at her church. She believes in the importance of work-life balance and the restorative power of personal time, spending most of her time outside of work with her family and cherishing quality time with her husband and children. She also enjoys movies and television shows.
