Ashley V. Hunter, N.P.

Ashley’s philosophy of care as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner is to provide compassionate, evidence-based, family-centered care that supports each child’s physical, emotional, and developmental well-being. She believes in partnering with families, building trusting relationships, promoting prevention and healthy development, and treating every child with respect, empathy, and individual attention. In addition to general pediatric care, Ashley has taken special interest in promoting healthy habits for children and teens as well as pediatric travel medicine through individual niche programs within the department. Ultimately, she strives to make a lasting difference for both children and their families as a provider within the Danville Team.

Outside of medicine, Ashley enjoys hiking, Pilates, and sharing new recipes with her friends and family. She has a not-so-secret dream of competing on Survivor one day – stay tuned!
